When we started Ear Hustle nearly a decade ago, we had one goal: to share the stories of incarcerated people, stories that would otherwise go untold.
As we often say, the reality is bigger than the dream. We've been able to do so much more, and reach more listeners — including incarcerated listeners — than we ever imagined.
We've expanded to women's prisons; gone beyond California; and brought the storytelling lessons we've learned from the show to many different learners, from high school students through our curriculum program, to incarcerated folks through our inside storytelling workshops and live shows.
We're coming to you now to ask for your help to keep going.
Our team is planning ahead for the stories we want to bring you next, and the budget is a big part of that.
We're asking for 1,000 listeners to donate $100, or commit to $10/month, to put us in a strong position for the next season.
